- Mayor Jamie Sue Harris. Real history: incorporated in 1973 by Geneva Helton specifically to legalize liquor sales in then-dry Denton County — not, as sometimes assumed, a 2022 anti-annexation incorporation; the town was later briefly renamed 'Draper' (2016-2020) before reverting to Corral City. The real 2022 event was developer Hillwood buying the entire ~100-acre town.
