Board of Commissioners

5-member Board of Commissioners representing five districts. Coweta is the only county commission in Georgia with a rotating chairmanship — the five district commissioners elect one of their own as Chairman and Vice-Chairman on a rotating basis — independently confirmed. Chairman: Bill McKenzie (appointed January 2025, serving through the end of 2026). Other members: Jeff Fisher, Bob Blackburn, John Reidelbach, Al Smith.
