Chair, County Board: DeKalb County Board, 24 members elected from 12 districts (two per district). Chairman: John Frieders, elected December 2024 for the 2025-2026 term. Real leadership change since the December 2025 directory: Suzanne Willis resigned in February 2024, was briefly succeeded by Ellingsworth Webb, then Frieders was elected — the directory had retained Willis in error.
