County Executive & Board of Commissioners: Home Rule Charter county — elected County Executive PLUS a 9-member Board of Commissioners (5 district + 4 at-large; commissioners elect their own Chair/Vice Chair annually) — a hybrid structure, not a Council. County Executive: Joshua Siegel (took office Jan. 5, 2026). Chairman: Geoff Brace (District 4, re-elected Jan. 2026, 6th consecutive year as chair). Vice Chair: Sheila Alvarado (at-large).
