County Manager & County Council: Home Rule Charter (2012) — an 11-member County Council (elected by district) plus an appointed County Manager (no elected commissioners); a 2025 ballot measure to shrink Council to 9 seats was rejected by ~61% of voters, so it remains 11. County Manager: Romilda P. Crocamo (since May 2023). Council Chair: Jimmy Sabatino (D, elected at the Jan. 2026 organizational meeting). Council Vice Chair: Brittany Stephenson (D).
