City Manager Phillip "Hal" Hegwer is the operational executive (Council-Manager government) · (919) 777-1111; Mayor Rebecca Wyhof Salmon (took office Dec. 2022) presides over the City Council. A December 2023 council censure action involved Council Member Linda Rhodes, not Mayor Salmon.
