Constitutional charter county governed by an elected County Executive and a 7-member County Council (single-member districts). County Executive: Dr. Sam Page. Council: Rita Heard Days (D1), Gretchen Bangert (D2), Dennis Hancock (D3), Shalonda Webb (D4), Lisa Clancy (D5), Michael Archer (D6), Mark Harder (D7). Note: Page has announced he will not seek re-election in 2026 and separately faces a state indictment over 2025 campaign-mailer finances; the County Council has considered a removal process. He remains the sitting County Executive as of this research.
