NOT ex officio — peer/rotating selection method confirmed (Probate Judge Willie Pearl Watkins-Rice is a different person from any commissioner). Current chairman's identity COULD NOT BE VERIFIED against a current, dated source: the county's own commissioners page explicitly labels Marcus Campbell as Chairperson only "for the 2017 calendar year" — a stale page. A 2021-2022 ACCA document separately shows Campbell as ACCA President representing Sumter, suggesting continuity, but no 2024-2026-dated source confirms who currently chairs the commission.
