Chairman, County Commission

NOT ex officio — a THIRD documented contradiction of the ALPJA 15-county list (after Lauderdale and Dale). The county's own official sites show Probate Judge Nick Williams is a DIFFERENT person from Commission Chairman J. Allen Bailey (District 2), directly confirmed via the county's own commission roster page. Further corroborated: the county's own Probate Office site explicitly states "There are currently 13 counties in which the probate judge still chairs the commission" and does NOT list Washington among them — the county's own probate office disclaims the ex-officio arrangement for itself. Roster: Rocky Odom (D1), Bailey (D2, Chairman), Danny Smith (D3), Jason Boothe (D4), Joe Abston (D5).
